Lightnext is an educational organization, dedicated to providing quality design education to Pakistani institutions by linking them with instructors from all over the world.

To start, we have carefully studied students’ work at various design schools in Pakistan, and have used this research to design a custom eight week booster course that will focus on sketching and 3D design.

Our courses are designed for up to ten students at a time, and made to be consumed via an interactive video link between the university and our remote teachers. Since all classes will be live, students will be able to ask questions and receive answers immediately.

The main goals of this program are to provide students with both an understanding of which CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools are right for which jobs, and to provide them with an excellent foundation in aesthetics, ideation, layout design and communication.

Our teachers bring solid backgrounds in the field of industrial design and CAD education to the classroom. Upon succesful completion of the course, students will have the skills and knowledge they need to be able to professionally communicate the ideation process using both hand drawn sketching and CAD modeling.

An important aspect of this program is the global exposure that the LightNext approach brings to the classroom. Whether in Lahore, Karachi, Gujarat or any city of Pakistan, students will be exposed to the latest trends in the Industrial Design field.

Online classrooms have already changed the education landscape the world over. LightNext will bring the benefits of online education to design in Pakistan, and continue to improve and develop its courses for the benefit of all.
